Written in accessible, age-appropriate language, each letter brings stories of adventure, everyday discoveries, and a genuine sense of belonging straight to their mailbox. 

For many adults with intellectual disabilities and autism, friendships can be hard to come by—and getting mail of their own is rare. Letter from a Friend changes that.

How it Works

Connection delivered in 3 simple steps:

• Step 1: Subscribe Choose a 3-month plan or save with an annual subscription. Sign up using your loved one's name and address.

• Step 2: The Bright Envelope Arrives Each month, a bright, easy-to-spot envelope arrives in the mail, addressed just to them. Inside is a typed, multi-page letter filled with true-to-life moments, travel stories, and warm reflections. Their first delivery will be our Introduction Letter to begin their new friendship. Every month after that, a brand-new letter filled with fresh adventures will arrive by the middle of the month.
