A PLACE for Everyone
Founded in 2022 by a college professor and her daughter, The PLACE Program® was born during a transition out of the school system. The pair realized a hard truth many families face - there was nowhere to go after high school. With a desire to pursue higher education, they built the program they wished existed.
The PLACE Program® provides adults with intellectual disabilities and autism a place to keep learning, growing, and belonging. Its college-inspired environment is built around student strengths and interests. Students build confidence, develop skills, and become part of a welcoming learning community.
Over the years, the program has grown organically based on student feedback and continues to add programs to meet the needs of its community.
Courses are offered live in person and online as well as through our recorded curriculum library.
"This program is something that I truly look forward to, and I am so honored to be a part of."
